Don't stress guys I am in Australia, so very unlikely you'll have the same surgeon!

It is unlikely you will hear from Elisabethsew - she resigned her position as administrator and no longer posts on this site. I believe, however, that Dr. Aceves also performed her surgery.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask - there will no doubt be someone who has answers.

Just curious how you are doing today...Im only 11 days out and had a day of major pain and vomitting..hope this will end in a few weeks. I just added a bit of melted cheese in my broth and experienced tremendous pain in my chest..finally relieved an hour later after i threw up. Hope your doing well!

Hope your doing well! | 11 days may have been a bit early to add cheese to your diet - I'd stick with liquids for another 10 days - not necessarily clears, but fulls -- thin cream soups, SF pudding/jello, things like that. Might have just been too early for your tummy to tolerate cheese.

Hang in there, it does get easier and easier..liquids are tough, mushies are easier, then it gets iffy when you move to solids - just learning what you can tolerate and how much. Once you learn the "full" feeling, things are so much better.

He's been right.
