Ok, so I am home and sleeved this forum has helped alot. One thing I think was we forgot to mention the liquid they make you drink to take an extra of your stomach hat was totally gross I almost puked. Other than that surgery I believe was a success. I have some pain/uncomfortableness but overall looking forward for incisions to heal

| | Re: Home and Sleeved by Dr. Jay Feb. 1 That icky stuff they make us swallow is usually gastrografin. It's so icky, at my hospital they sweeten it up with Tang, but that actually made it worse for me. So, I just imagined that it was a cheap shot of tequilla LOL.
Glad you are home and recovering. Keep walking, and sipping, rest when you can. Keep us updated on your progress as well ! ! !

| | Re: Home and Sleeved by Dr. Jay Feb. 1 I liked warm liquids more than cold. The warm was very soothing, and the cold didn't really work well with me.
The less you use your ab muscles, the quicker the internal discomfort will subside. I slept in my recliner for a good 3 weeks post-op just because it was easier to get out of the chair than it was to get out of bed.
