Would it be possible to forward the journal articles cited by your appeal letter regarding VSG. My health plan denied my surgeon's request due to it being "investigational and experimental"
I understand that health insurance companies are slowly beginning to allow this procedure (ie United Health Plans, Federal BCBS and Keiser for example) but my insurance still doesn't (Independence Blue Cross)
I have seen your appeal letter and the references, but feel that having at least the abstract of the articles cited would be very helpful.
