Hi everyone! :001_smile: I am 11 days post op and am still having difficulty with my liquid diet. I am suppose to be taking low sodium, low in fat soups. I tried purchasing one low in sodium and low fat soups from the market but they are very disgusting so I decided to once in a while buy chinese soups. I really love Wonton Soups but my fear is that they have a lot of salt and that they are not healthy. Can anyone give me any good recipes that they had while they are on their liquid diet? It would be real helpful... Thanks!!

Hello fellow sleevers...
Just thought I would put this out there to see if any one has been in the same or similar position...
I am nearly 9 weeks post op and I feel great. The healing process for me was ok and I had no issues at all!!
My weight loss is good and I am not complaining (honest) in fact, I can honestly say that I have never lost 29lb in 9 weeks before, in my life, EVER!!!
However, my weight loss is sooooo inconsistent and I am really frustrated by this, I had a stall from 2 1/2 weeks to around week 5 and then I lost a few pounds and then nothing again...!!!!
Has anyone else experienced this; I was sorta hoping that I would lose a steady amount weekly (that sounds a little self assured and it isn't meant to be) as this is what I was lead to believe by my surgeon!

Any words of wisdom or advise would be greatly received...

xx

Ok guys so here is my deal, I was sleeved on August 27, 2010, I ended up spending two nights in the hospital due to pain control. I got out on Sunday after rough (and I mean rough) Monday and Tuesday I woke up Wednesday feeling like I could conquer the world. I decided to see how some food would go down so I made my nephew a frozen burrito and cut the tail end off; it went down fine. Later on I walked past a tray of fish sticks I ate two and they went down with little trouble too. I am worried that this this my make it a bit harder to me to lose weight, I know that the surgery is a tool but after reading over some of the stories that others post about being on a liquid diet for two or three weeks post op if I am hindering myself by finding out this information. Thanks for any and all responses.
Not real sure where the food selection is at 6 weeks. I just want to be able to plan ahead so I'm not freaking out! It is our county fair and my older son shows animals so I have to be there all week smelling all those greasey sweet wonderful smells. I My hubs doesnt understand why being on a liquid diet that makes me tired and cranky I would not want to have the 2 year old at the fair with me(btw he's unemployed so no reason he cant keep the 2 yr old) . I also got the world worst sunburn yesterday. So today I broke. Good news is I have 12 days left to get my **** together. Tme to brush off and figure out how to get through the rest of the week!e I made for my son.
